Wow! This is my first personal post on searchwritten :) Just a short note to let you guys know that as of january 1, 2009, I’ll be working at Ilse media as inhouse SEO specialist. So yes, I’m leaving the fabulous crew of Onetomarket, where I’ve learned a LOT. But it was time for something new and different for me…
The different thing is that I wanted to witness the online marketing bizz from another perspective. Not as an external consultant, but as an internal specialist. Less consultancy, more operations. It’s another experience, another way of looking at things. Also, because of the size of the Ilse network, it’s quite a challenge!
I like the fact that Ilse is located in one of my favourite cities (Amsterdam), and that they have graffiti and Wii’s :)
For those of you who don’t know Ilse: it’s the largest Dutch internetpublisher (8.6 million uniques/day) and has sites like nu.nl, startpagina.nl, kieskeurig.nl etc. [overview].

Seeing you have just started there, what is the problem with the websites of Ilse Media? As of yesterday 25.1.2009 most of the sites connected with Ilse are out of action.

Hi Navin, people leave companies all the time, especially internet companies, it’s just that joost and I left in a short time span :p There are still about about 15 *very* good seo’s working at OTM, not only in Holland, but also in Spain and Germany…
